Call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 between 7am and 7pm, Monday through Friday, to speak to a representative. Choose your language, then press 2 for questions about personal income tax. Press 1 for questions about forms already submitted or payments made. Press 3 for all other questions. You will be asked for your Social Security number before being connected to an agent who can assist with personal or individual questions.
