Buy It Now Feature Overview
The Buy It Now price is available until someone bids on the item or until the reserve price is met. A buyer who clicks the Buy It Now button is directed to pay immediately. In some categories, the Buy It Now option may continue after the first bid. The Buy It Now price disappears once a bid is placed.
Payment Terms and Policies
eBay buyers have 4 calendar days from the purchase date to pay for most items. Payment due dates are clearly displayed for fixed price listings to ensure understanding of payment terms upfront.
Unpaid Item Policy
If a buyer doesn’t pay after 5 calendar days, sellers can cancel the transaction and choose to have eBay automatically relist the item. The unpaid item policy on eBay allows sellers to cancel unpaid orders within four business days.
Overview of Buy It Now Listings
Buy It Now listings run continuously until sold or manually ended by the seller. Immediate Payment feature enables buyers to make purchases right away without removing the listing until payment is completed.
Listing Duration Options
Listing duration options include 7, 10, 30 days, or "Good ’til Cancelled" (GTC). Starting in 2019, GTC has become the only duration option for all fixed-price listings on eBay.
