Font Usage in Discord
The standard font used across the entirety of the Discord app is Uni Sans. Uni Sans is also the font that was used to help create the Discord logo back in 2009.

The most consistent and highly used font throughout this platform is the Uni Sans font family. Uni sans font family is widely used because of its adaptability. You can see this font when you’re chatting, browsing servers, and using the search function.
Discord’s New Font: gg sans
Starting from December 1, 2022, Discord has updated its font across all its surfaces to a new custom font called “gg sans" that will replace Uni Sans as the primary font. In gg sans font, lowercase “g” is an ode to gaming origins, and “gg” is an abbreviation for ‘good game’ frequently used by gamers on discord.
To change fonts in Discord conversations, use a font generator site. Generate a font, copy it, then paste into your Discord chat. This is the most common method people use to customize Discord fonts.
