Formation of LLC in Texas
To form an LLC in Texas, submit a Certificate and pay a $300 fee to the Secretary of State. Choose a name and agent. It takes 40 days unless you pay $25 more for faster processing. A limited liability company can continue perpetually in Texas if no expiration date is stated in its articles of organization. Members can decide if and when an LLC expires.
