Website Transfer Process:
- Moving websites is completed by manually rebuilding websites using the Duda editor. This can take between 3-5 hours per site. This is the easiest option if you need to move 20 sites or less.
- Once you have determined files you need to move, you will need hosting provider that can support your website. There are providers that allow moving websites with simple processes.
- Your transfer from GoDaddy should complete within 15-30 minutes, depending on your new registrar.
- Doing transfers will differ from website to website, so it’s hard to provide specific information without knowing the application used or how it was built.
- To transfer the domain name, you can initiate change by contacting your current registrar. Your registrar will then ask for your confirmation.
- If you use a third party to host the website and email, they should not be affected by the transfer. We do not change name servers for the domain during the transfer process.
