Plot Summary
Axel Nordstrom manages a glass-bottom boat tourist operation near California. His daughter, Jennifer Nelson, occasionally helps by wearing a mermaid costume and swimming under the boat. One day, Jennifer meets Bruce Templeton when his fishing hook snags her costume, leaving her floating bottomless. After discovering Templeton is a company president, she apologizes.
Bruce’s company created the GISMO, a device the U.S. Air Force plans to launch into orbit. The Soviet Union seeks the secret formula. Jennifer starts a public relations job at Bruce’s space lab, not knowing he is her new boss. She moonlights for her dad’s boat tour, wearing a mermaid costume.
