In the 1970s and 80s, Honda built multiple plants in Ohio, starting with their first US plant in Marysville. Today, they operate 12 manufacturing plants in America that have produced over 26 million cars and trucks since 1982.

Key plants include East Liberty, Ohio and Greensburg, Indiana which produce popular models like the CR-V, Civic and Accord. About two-thirds of Hondas sold in America are made in the US with globally-sourced parts.

Honda’s American-made models ranked highly on Cars.com’s 2020 American-Made Index, with the Alabama-built Odyssey, Ridgeline and Passport SUV in the top 10.
