Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered includes a create-a-skater mode that lets you put yourself into the game. Here’s how to use the create-a-skater function in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 Remastered and how to get new cosmetics.
To create a skater, go to the main menu where Tony Hawk should be standing if you’ve just started the game. Press Triangle or Y to access the character selection screen. At the top, select one of the four blank boxes to start the create-a-skater process.
Unlocking New Cosmetics
To unlock new cosmetics, complete the career mode goals with a single character. This will unlock the Skater Heaven level. Here you can access new challenges to unlock rewards like clothes to customize your skater.
Secret Skater and Trick Tips
The Alien secret skater is unlocked by discovering all 19 alien plush dolls hidden throughout each level. Tailslides can be confusing in THPS. Approach the rail, ollie, and move the stick away from the rail while pressing the grind button. For a bluntslide, ollie high enough to make contact with the coping. Lean back, apply pressure with your back foot, and ride along the ramp.
Learning with MasterClass
Tony Hawk teaches skateboarding in MasterClass streaming videos. Over 16 lessons, learn beginner to advanced tricks from Hawk and other professionals. Start slow, it’s never too late.
Tips, Tricks, and Encouragement
