An authorized delegate is a third-party agent authorized to conduct money transmission activities on behalf of a licensed money transmitter. Authorized delegates typically have to be vetted and approved by the licensed money transmitter and regulatory authorities.
Before an authorized agent submits queries, the health care organization must designate the agent by completing an online Authorized Agent Designation. Responses to queries submitted by the initiating health care organization will be returned to the initiating organization, regardless of routing designation.
