Lead Crafting in Minecraft
A lead is crafted with four strings and one slimeball. To craft it, place the four strings and one slimeball in a crafting table. Leads can attach mobs for moving them.
When held, leads stretch up to 10 blocks. Leads can also attach mobs to fences to restrict their movement. Attached mobs become suspended if held more than 7 blocks above the ground. Leads do not break when attached mobs die.
Lead Usage and Acquisition
Leads allow guiding animals and pets. Using a lead on a mob ties the lead to the mob, allowing it to be moved by the player. Leads can generate in various locations and can also be obtained by killing wandering traders and their llamas.
Crafting Lead in Minecraft
There is only one recipe for how to craft a lead in Minecraft. A lead is crafted with a crafting table from four strings and one slimeball. The crafting process creates two leads for each set of ingredients used.
String can be found by killing spiders or in mob spawner chests, while slimeballs are dropped by slimes which spawn underground or in swamp biomes.
