Effects of Transferring Domain on Email
As long as your domain name’s MX records, the part of the DNS records that point to your mail service provider, stay the same, then transferring your domain name to another registrar won’t affect them. This means that your email address and the password you use to access it won’t change, and the email messages in your inbox won’t get deleted.
However, if you transfer your domain name to another registrar and change the DNS records to point to another web hosting account and/or email platform, your emails may be affected.

Steps to Transfer Domain
Start by visiting the 123 Reg Homepage. From there, type your domain name into the search tool provided and select the magnifying glass icon. On the next page, select Transfer my domain. Your domain name will now be added to the basket.
Transfer without Losing Emails
When you transfer your domain away from Squarespace, we’ll continue to provide DNS hosting for the domain. This means that email services connected to your domain will continue to work as usual. You can continue to use your Squarespace login and password to access your email account.
MX Records and Email Routing
