Differences Between CRN and EIN
- The CRN is a 12-digit universal identification number used by government agencies.
- The 10-digit EIN number is used by employers for SSS transactions.
Finding Your SSS Number
- If you applied before 2015, check your E-1 form copy. Your SSS number is handwritten in the corner, below your information.
- The UMID card displays your CRN, not the SSS number.
- Online, print or email your personal record and SSS number document.
- Call 920-6446 to 55 to verify your number and for member support.
Employer ID Number
- The ID number can be found on the Registration Plate, R-1 form, or SSS registration certificate.
How to Inquire About Your SSS Number
- To inquire about your SSS number, call the SSS hotline number from 9AM to 5PM.
- You may also ask your HR staff for your SSS number, as some employee IDs have the SSS number printed on the back.
