To return an Amazon item for a refund, log into your account. Click "orders," then "return or replace items." Use the menu to explain the return reason and choose the reimbursement method: Amazon credit or bank deposit.
Eligible items can be exchanged. Criteria: added to cart quantity one, shipped and sold by Amazon, not an Add-on Item, different from the returned item, not a gift.

To change a product category, open the orders list and select the incorrectly categorized order.
