Updating your Company’s Registered Address
To change your company’s registered address:
- Notify your bank, the IRS, and your state. Plan for this to take 30 days.
- Get and complete the Change of Address form from the IRS (Form 8822).
- Send written notice to the state. Obtain and complete the business address change form. Include your business name and the new address.
- Contact your insurance agent to update your policy.
- Update your address on your Google Business Profile. Log into your account and edit your location.
- Set the map pin to your new location.
- Save your changes. Edits are usually reviewed within 10 minutes.
