The first step in filing your Annual Report is understanding Massachusetts’s specific requirements and deadlines. To file a corporate annual report in Massachusetts, complete and submit Form PCA-1 from the Secretary of State’s website and pay a $25 filing fee.
All foreign and domestic corporations in Massachusetts must file an annual report within two and one-half months after their fiscal year ends. The report goes to the Secretary of the Commonwealth. You can file your Massachusetts LLC or Corporation Annual Report online or by mail.

Review your business information before filing and submit your report by the due date. The MA LLC annual report fee is $500; filing online costs $450. LLCs are typically pass-through tax entities.
The state of Massachusetts takes 2-3 days to process annual report filings. Annual report due dates and fees vary by business type:
- MA corporations and Professional Corporations: every 2 years by March 15
- LLCs: by anniversary date
- LLPs: by the last day of February
- LPs: by anniversary
- Nonprofits: by November 1
- Charities: 4.5 months after fiscal year end
