Finding Business Information
You can find information on any business entity in Missouri or another state by searching the Secretary of State website. To find my ACI fabric ID using the GUI: Access APIC Admin GUI. Select SYSTEM-> CONTROLLERS. Expand Controllers information. Expand APIC information. Select “Cluster”. The Cluster Work Panel displays the “FABRIC NAME”.
Missouri Business Registration
Limited Liability Companies must register with the Missouri secretary of state. To get an EIN number in Missouri apply online by sending Form SS-4 to the IRS fax number 855-641-6935. You can get an EIN over the phone if the company formed outside the U.S. by calling 267-941-1099.
Business Verification
To verify if a business registered with Missouri visit the Secretary of State website [bsd.sos.mo.gov]. Sole proprietors in Missouri don’t need a general business license but may need other licenses and permits to operate legally. Industries like consulting that don’t require special training generally don’t need a license. Health care, beauticians and insurance brokers/agents need a license in almost every state.
