To get a Certificate of Good Standing in DC, visit the DC Secretary of State website, which has an online portal for requesting one. You may need to create an account or log into your existing account to submit the request. The application fee is $50. It typically takes a few days to a few weeks to process.
A foreign business entity registering in DC must be in good standing in its jurisdiction of origin.
