Controlling Image Placement and Cropping in Wix
In Wix, you can control image placement and cropping. Use the crop tool to adjust size and position within a box. Uploading high-resolution images under 8MB is ideal. To resize images, use the Wix toolbar to align them vertically or horizontally and make them the same size. Match width makes element widths the same. Match adjusts element size – both height and width.
Managing Wix Banners for Different Devices
Wix banners can vary in size on different devices. Mobile phones and tablets may need smaller banners than desktops. To make a Wix site fit all screen sizes, select a responsive design template. All Wix templates include a mobile-friendly version. You can also view the mobile version and customize as needed. Check that page elements and content are responsive across screen sizes using the Preview button.
Customizing Images for Wix Editor
Pad images in Photoshop to the Wix editor’s allocated picture size. For member input tables, I advise creating the images as squares for easy resizing.
