Payment Process
Wag pays its walkers through direct deposit every 4 days after completing a walk. The average pay for a 30-minute walk is $12 plus tip. You can get paid extra if an owner has more than one dog or requests recurring walks, and you’ll receive 100% of any tips you earn.
Earnings Details
Wag takes a 40% cut of your payout, which is twice as much as Rover’s fee. The amount Wag walkers get paid varies depending on the length of the walk, the location, and the walker’s experience and ratings. Generally, walkers earn between $12 and $17 per walk, but this can increase for longer walks or additional services requested.
Payment Options
You can get paid more quickly using the Instant Pay feature, which sends your money immediately to a debit card for a 3% fee. In order to use Instant Pay, you will need to add a debit card. Wag handles all payment processing and fees – walkers simply need to connect their PayPal email to receive earnings.
Pet Sitting and Boarding Pay
The base pay for pet sitting or boarding is $26 per night. Walking dogs through the Wag app has become a popular way to earn extra income. The hours are pretty flexible which can be great, but the amount of walks is not consistent. People tip 9/10 times on walks and that definitely helps.
