Resizing and Formatting in Weebly and HTML
There are a few options to make a text box bigger: use different fonts and styles, adjust margins and spacing, use a bigger template, or try HTML/CSS code.
Making Text Visible and Editing Images
To make text visible on an image with CSS, use the position property to layer text over an image, and add styling like color and font to make the text stand out.
To shrink an image on Weebly, drag a spacer element next to the image to manually reduce its size instead of having it stretch across the page width.
Managing Weebly Pages and Content
To copy any standard, blog, or product page in Weebly, go to Pages and click Copy.
To reorder products on Weebly, log in to the editor, click the Products element, and drag/drop to organize them.
To change the font across a Weebly site, use the Design tab. Or to modify specific elements, go to Theme > Change Fonts and pick what to customize.
To adjust a text box’s width in Weebly, drag a spacer element next to it, then edit the vertical divider between them.
Deleting Elements and Categories in Weebly
To remove a category on Weebly’s Square integration, access your Square dashboard and go to Online Store > Items > Categories. Click delete.
To remove a drag element box in Weebly, click Edit > Delete.
Resizing Text Boxes and Images
Click on the border and drag to resize. Use font, spacing, and margin options.
To increase text size in a text box in HTML, use the CSS font-size property through inline, internal, or external styling. For example, set the font-size to a specific pixel value.
To reduce the size of a text box in HTML, adjust the width and height by setting values for the size attribute or by using CSS width and height properties.
Additional Formatting Techniques
To select all text boxes in a Word document at once, click the Home tab, then find the Editing group. Click Select, then click Select All Text Boxes.
To resize an image, click it and drag the sizing handles on the corners or sides. You can also specify an exact height and width under the Size & Properties tab after selecting the image.
On a Samsung phone, go to Settings > Display > Font size and style to change the system text size. Drag the slider or select a font size preset.
In Word, the "Shrink Text on Overflow" text fit option automatically reduces the text size in a box when the content overflows.
Customizing Forms and Devices
To make a Windows Form resizable in C#, set the FormBorderStyle property to Sizable, the MaximumSize and MinimumSize properties to control resize limits, and handle the Resize event to reposition controls.
On an Android device, go to Settings > Display > Font size to manage the system font size using a slider or preset options.
