Don’t Starve: Chester Mechanics
In Don’t Starve, Chester is a character found in the secret Ruins level. To find Chester, the player needs the secret key dropped by a Ruins monster. With the key, Chester can be found waiting in his room.
Chester will respawn if he dies. His health regenerates over time when kept from harm. He can act as a distraction in fights. Chester can also be used as a regenerating punching bag with the Bat Bat.
Chester Transformations
To upgrade Chester, fill his inventory with Blue Gems on a full moon night. He’ll transform into Snow Chester, a mobile Ice Box slowing food spoilage. Filling Chester’s inventory with nightmare fuel turns him into Shadow Chester, with more inventory space. Chester glows if containing fireflies. His full name is Otto von Chesterfield, Esq. Multiple Chesters can be spawned via console commands.
Chester’s Chicken Origin and Expansion
W.O. Giles founded Chester’s in October 1965 and adopted Chester the Chicken as the emerging foodservice company’s mascot, named for the Chester Goode character on Gunsmoke, a favorite TV show of Giles. Chester’s International, known as Chester’s or Chester’s Chicken, is a fried chicken quick-service restaurant chain based in Birmingham, Alabama, United States. In late 2012, the company moved its headquarters to the Birmingham suburb of Mountain Brook, Alabama.
Our chicken is double-breaded with our very own breading & batter dip, born from an old family recipe. Chester’s Chicken is known for its double breading, which adds extra flavor, crunch, and tenderness.
Today, many of the 1,800 locations across the US are franchised and are often found in travel stops such as TravelCenters of America. The company continues to expand, opening 3 new locations in Texas, Colorado, and Missouri during the first 6 months of 2016.
Owning a Chester’s Franchise
To buy a franchise with Chester’s, you’ll need to have at least $50,000 – $100,000 with qualified financing in liquid capital. Franchisees can expect to make a total investment of at least $72,500 – $416,400 (varies by location). Chester’s Chicken has a franchise fee of up to $3,500, with a total initial investment range of $12,000 to $296,600.

Unlike popcorn, they’re baked in the oven and contain no hulls or hard seeds. They come in a compact snack-size bag and are ideal for when you get hungry in the middle of the day.
