Overview
Access the room the vending machine is in to loot items normally. It’s durable but still vulnerable, so place carefully to prevent attacks by raiders. Mark it on the map for buyers by pressing and holding E to broadcast its location. Register an LLC and get a business license from your state to place a vending machine outside as it takes money in exchange for products, making it a business. Require additional licenses from your state as you will be selling food, such as a beverage license. Meet federal and state requirements you may have to.
Installation
The vending machine requires 20 high-quality metal and 3 gears at a level 1 workbench. To place one, build a doorway where it will take the place of a door. It has two entry points for buyers and sellers. To make it sell items, press and hold E on it. Select the broadcast location option to mark it on the map. Place it carefully just outside your main base and limit the number of vending machines to avoid competition.
