Refrigeration and Freezing

- Freezing donuts is best for long-term storage, lasting up to 2 weeks in a regular freezer and up to 8 weeks in a deep freezer.
- But, the texture and toppings/fillings can slightly change after freezing.

- Store in an airtight container or wrap in plastic wrap or aluminum foil to extend freshness.
- You can freeze the donuts and reheat in the microwave to maintain freshness.

Tips for Maximum Freshness

- Cream-filled donuts should be stored in the refrigerator.
- Keep donuts covered and let them breathe if stored on the counter.
- No matter how donuts were stored, they benefit from being reheated for that warm, fresh taste.
- Store them in a paper bag or airtight container in a cool dry place for 1-3 days.
- Preheat the air fryer between 350-400°F and reheat donuts for 3-4 minutes to restore crispiness.
- To freeze, wrap donuts tightly with aluminum foil or plastic freezer wrap, or place in a heavy-duty freezer bag.
