How Many D-BAT Locations Are There? Introduction to D-BAT Academies

The D-BAT franchise was founded in 1998 by Cade and Kyle Griffis. Their simple goal was to provide indoor facilities that matched the level of quality players in the area. The franchise has been franchising since 2007.

At D-BAT, it is our mission to: Provide a quality teaching environment with quality instruction to enhance the baseball experience for players at all levels from little league through the pros.

D-BAT is an indoor baseball and softball training academy that offers private lessons and camps for young players looking to improve. The academy boasts several major leaguers as alums, including Dallas native and Los Angeles Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw.

Can you wear cleats at Dbats? For all day camps, please bring a sack lunch, water, equipment and wear athletic shoes (no cleats).

At D-BAT Keller, our batting cages use real baseballs and softballs. All of our pitching machines will accommodate baseball along with slow pitch and fast pitch softball. We also have loaner helmets that are sanitized between every use.

For the avid user of a D-Bat location, there are membership sales available. These memberships, depending on the level purchased, offer discounts and perks to help make the D-Bat experience more affordable than purchasing each experience a la carte.

As of the 2021 Franchise Disclosure Document, there are 100 franchised D-BAT locations in the USA.

The D-BAT franchise fee is $40,000 and must be paid fully upfront and is nonrefundable to open a new franchise. The estimated total investment necessary to begin the operation of a D-BAT franchise ranges from $494,650 to $967,100.
