Recommended Exercise Frequency
Generally speaking, it’s recommended to exercise 3-4 times per week for optimal results. However, this doesn’t mean you have to do Crossfit every day. Incorporate at least 3 days/week of Crossfit on a set schedule with one complete rest day each week.
Workout Schedule and Rest Days
WOD, or Workout of the Day, is 20-30 minutes. Because Crossfit WOD’s are performed at a high-intensity level, we don’t recommend that you come to class 6 or 7 days a week. CrossFit prescribes three consecutive days of workouts followed by one rest day.

As a beginner, start with just a few days a week and gradually increase as you get used to the exercises. For someone experienced looking for an intense workout, four or five days per week is recommended.
