The NC annual report provides information on the state’s revenue and spending. It is released yearly by the Department of Revenue. To get a copy of your report in Illinois, contact the Secretary of State’s office and request it online or by mail. File your NC Annual Report by April 15 every year.
LLC Reporting Requirements
LLCs file annual reports with the NC Secretary of State updating company information. NC corporations, LLCs, and partnerships all must file yearly. The 2023 filing fee is $200. Filing keeps contact and information accurate and correct.

LLCs file reports with the Secretary of State. Reports are due April 15, except the first year. LLCs not filing by the due date get a Notice of Grounds and have 60 days to file.
Include your business’s name, address, and your officers’, directors’, and agent’s names and addresses in the report. File online on the Secretary of State’s website.
In North Carolina, business entities have different report due dates but must file yearly updates. Starting in fall 2023, "NCSUITS" will be a new system for unemployment insurance taxes.
