Tex and Carolina
It is revealed in Don’t Say It that Allison was actually the mother of Carolina, making the Director, in turn, Carolina’s father. Despite their animosity, Tex was known to care greatly about Carolina. This may be due to the fact that Tex’s template was Carolina’s mother, Allison.
The Reds and Blues
Where are the reds and blues? The Reds and Blues are the self-made faction originally stationed in Blood Gulch, along with individuals that have joined them both later on. Carolina seemed to be suspicious of Tex, seeing her as a rival, due to Tex’s extreme skill against the three agents and her special treatment after the battle.
When Tex takes the credit for Carolina’s efforts to recover the briefcase, she taunts her by saying "better luck next time Carolina" to exemplify their hostility. Though South was spared, North was less fortunate as the Meta killed him in order to obtain Theta. After forcing the artificial intelligence out of Caboose’s head, Tex disappears until the end of the season, when she possesses the body of a robot built by Sarge.
In the Season 14 episode “Fifty Shades of Red”, Sarge states that his real name is just “Sarge,” although the episode suggests he had actually changed his name for the sake of obtaining the rank of Sergeant. It is revealed by her uniform that Allison was a UNSC Marine, possibly explaining Tex’s skill in combat and weaponry.
Revealing Family Ties
Was Carolina the director’s daughter? In the Red vs. Blue series, Allison first appeared in Killed in Action. She is Carolina’s mother and the Director’s girlfriend. Her death breaks the Director’s heart, making him obsessive over bringing her back. He creates Project Freelancer, whose agents include Carolina.
Carolina simply tells the Reds and Blues to stay put, annoying Simmons. His fears about her using them as a distraction to the Director are realized. However, after issues with her and Epsilon, he decides to help her, saying they deserve a second chance. They work to defeat Tex drones.
It’s implied Carolina is the Director’s daughter; they have the same green eyes. Allison is the Director’s wife Tex is based on. So Tex and Epsilon are Carolina’s parents.
Sarge states his real name is “Sarge,” suggesting he changed it to become a Sergeant. Allison was a Marine, explaining Tex’s combat skill.
