Rancilio Manufacturing and History
Rancilio is an espresso machine manufacturer founded in 1927 by Roberto Rancilio in Parabiago, Italy. Rancilio’s earliest machine was ‘La Regina.’ In 1950, Rancilio released the Invicta Horizzontal. By 1953, Rancilio adopted lever piston technology from Gaggia. The company’s product range includes traditional espresso machines, Egro fully automatic coffee machines, a "Home line," and professional coffee grinders. Rancilio North America, established in 1999 in the Chicago suburbs, serves as the sales, technical support, warehousing, and distribution center for Rancilio in the US.
