License Revocation
A revoked license is invalid forever. It usually happens after multiple convictions or particularly serious offenses like driving under the influence (DUI) or without insurance.
When your licence is revoked you do not automatically have the right to reapply for your licence. At the end of a disqualification period, you are entitled to apply for your licence back unless there are medical reasons why it should not be returned to you.
In California, revocation is reserved for the most serious DUI charges and some repeat offenders. You must apply for a new one after the revocation period.
Business Consequences of Non-Compliance
If your business doesn’t file annual returns, it may be deregistered and your bank account frozen. To revive a permanently revoked Nevada business, a Certificate of Revival must be filed and fees/penalties paid.
What does revoked business status mean? If the entity’s status is revoked, it means that the organization has not maintained a registered agent and/or did not file the required biennial report with the Corporations Division. Entities in revoked status may not operate in the District until they are reinstated.
In Nevada, if nothing is done for another 5 years after the charter is revoked, the entity is permanently revoked.
