Biennial Report Filing in Iowa
A biennial report in Iowa must be filed by LLCs, LPs, and nonprofit corporations every two years during odd-numbered years. For-profit corporations file biennial reports on even-numbered years. It confirms the business name, owners, registered agent, address, and principal office address.
To file, login to the Fast Track website. Select "File Biennial Report" and enter the business ID number. Provide details like the business name and registered agent. Reports are processed immediately when filing online.
If an Iowa corporation doesn’t file its report by the due date, it may eventually be administratively dissolved. Our service can file your report for a fee. We are not the Secretary of State or affiliated with them.
All Iowa LLCs must file a biennial report every two years to stay in compliance and good standing. It is due April 1 of odd-numbered years, starting the year after forming. Requirements include the business name, addresses, and registered agent details.
You can file online for $30 with immediate processing. We recommend filing online as it is cheaper and faster. Set a reminder to avoid missing the deadline.
