Flower Gardens
A flower garden is an area where flowers are grown and displayed. Flower gardens combine plants of different heights, colors, textures, and fragrances to create visual interest. They are produced mainly for enjoyment and relaxation. There are many types of flower gardens such as rose gardens, tulip gardens, and orchid gardens. Flower gardens can be tied to herb gardens and knot gardens. The plants are usually permanent features planned first, with spaces for annuals and bulbs arranged around them. Blending and contrasting color and form are important in planning a garden. Some very beautiful flower gardens in the world are the Miracle Garden in Dubai with over 150 million flowers and the Chateau de Villandry Garden in France.
Floral Gardens
A flower garden or floral garden is any garden where plants that flower are grown and displayed. This normally refers mostly to herbaceous plants, rather than flowering woody plants, which dominate in the shrubbery and woodland garden, although both these types may be part of the planting in any area of the garden. Flower gardens combine plants of different heights, colors, textures, and fragrances to create interest and delight the senses. Flower color and form are important in planning a garden. Many, if not most, plants considered decorative flowers originated as weeds, which if attractive enough would sometimes be tolerated by farmers because of their appeal. This led to an artificial selection process, producing ever-prettier (to humans) flowers.
Growing Flowers
Flower gardens combine plants of varying heights, colors, textures, and fragrances to interest the senses. They relax people. Examples are rose, tulip, orchid gardens. Decorative herbs and edible flowers mix in them. The layout has anchored plants first, then spaces for bulbs and annuals. Blending color and form matters. Famous ones are Dubai’s Miracle Garden with over 150 million flowers and France’s Villandry Garden.
Botanical Gardens
Large flower gardens are typically called botanical gardens. They are popular in areas where there is a large amount of land to cultivate, because the plants can be spread out easily and the visitors can see a variety of different types of plants and flowers. Sunflowers and roses stood high against the wall. Floriculture is a branch of horticulture addressing flower and ornamental plant cultivation and propagation of flowering plants for gardens, greenhouses, nurseries, and landscapes comprising the floral industry.
Flowers from each group come together to form a bouquet that is both stunning and structurally sound.
