How to Watch
I’m watching RvB for the first time. Is there a season I should stop watching on? I love Church, but having to hang out with a moron would be horrible. Yet, when you watch RvB, you see characters create a story and give human qualities without most of them ever taking off their helmets. They can show sadness, rage, happiness.
At the time of writing, seasons 1-13 of Red vs. Blue are on Netflix. However, there are some things you’ll miss if you watch exclusively on Netflix. Some episodes feature dialogue that is edited out in the movie version of the season. Additionally, there is at least one instance where the movie version features slightly different dialogue. In order to understand the plot of RvB, watching the series in order is important. This means watching Season 1, episodes 1-5 of Season 2, and episodes 6-16 of Season 3.
About Red vs. Blue
Red vs. Blue is a web-based comedy machinima series using the Halo series of video games to create stories about two teams of fictional soldiers facing off in a box canyon. In later seasons, the show develops a more serious storyline, while visually it becomes a hybrid of traditional machinima and animation using Halo assets and occasionally some original ones.
