An ideal fit model usually fits in jeans for sizes 4-6/5-7/27-28. Female editorial models are generally at least 5 feet, 9 inches tall and very slim, with measurements that are usually around 33 inches around the bust, 23 inches around the waist, and 33 inches around the hips.

Requirements vary but fashion models are usually at least 5’9” tall and slender. Clients prefer models appear youthful with some muscle tone.
Waist Measurements
Models’ waist sizes vary but usually range from 22 to 26 inches. The average Victoria’s Secret model has a 23.6-inch waist. Runway models have waist sizes no greater than 23 inches. The average American woman has a waist size of 37.5 inches.
