Halo Infinite is a 2021 first-person shooter game developed by 343 Industries and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is the sixth mainline installment in the Halo series, following Halo 5: Guardians (2015). The game’s campaign follows the human supersoldier Master Chief and his fight against a mercenary organization, known as the Banished, on the Forerunner ringworld Zeta Halo. While the Pilot wants to flee, Master Chief insists on continuing the fight against the Banished.
Where does Halo Infinite take place?
Halo Infinite is set a few years after Halo 5, in 2560. It takes place across a small continent on Zeta Halo. Like past Halo games, most gameplay is first-person shooting. New abilities for Master Chief include the Thruster and Grapple Shot.
The campaign starts with the Banished ambushing the UNSC Infinity ship above the Halo ring. Master Chief battles their leader Atriox, but is defeated.
The Halo Infinite campaign is set in the Zeta Halo Ring, a vast semi-open world where players will have to traverse. You can find flying vehicles like the Banshee or WASP by traversing the vast Zeta Halo Ring campaign world.
Another missable Skull in Halo Infinite, the Cowbell, is located in the Foundation Mission. This is the second mission in the game, the one where you find The Weapon, so it isn’t too difficult to pick up if you know where to look.
