Who Made 905 Beer?

History of the 905 Liquor Store

The 905 Liquor Store opened at 905 North Twelfth Street in St. Louis on the eve of the repeal of Prohibition in 1933 by Morris Multin. It was a full-service liquor store beyond the beer they made with the iconic image of Saint Louis. The liquor was warehoused and guarded by government agents. The conspirators planned to slowly secret whisky, replacing it with water and grain alcohol over one year. This process was called "milking".
