Creative Memories, first founded in 1987 by Cheryl Lightle, pioneered the memory keeping industry and quickly became a leader in scrapbooking supplies, tools, and accessories.
The story of the Creative Memories brand began over 30 years ago. In 2014, Flowerdale Group Ltd chairman, Caleb Hayhoe, stepped in to save the former $400 million company. Hayhoe saw Creative Memories as a unique opportunity.
History of Scrapbooking
In 1981, Christensen opened the first store devoted to scrapbooking called Keeping Memories Alive, located in Spanish Fork, Utah. It became a destination for scrapbookers. The craft of scrapbooking became popular in the late 1990s.

The Company’s Transition and Legacy
